Abstract

Lipper is certainly fond of funds. The subsidiary of international news and information powerhouse Thomson Reuters specializes in providing research, news, data, and analytical tools, and commentary on more than 140,000 mutual funds and other types of investment funds in 45 countries around the world. The company has products geared toward institutions, private investors, financial intermediaries, and media firms. Among its subsidiaries and divisions are Hardwick Stafford Wright Limited, a supplier of fund performance information to the UK, BOPP ISB, a Swiss provider of fund performance and analysis, and HedgeWorld, a source of news, research, and analysis for the global hedge fund community.
