Abstract
The Handbuch der deutschen Aktiengesellschaften (HbAG, at times also spelled Handbuch der deutschen Aktien-Gesellschaften) was a comprehensive reference work on stock corporations in Germany from 1896 onward, including history, corporate structure and important acting persons. The reference work was initially published by A. Schumann Verlag in Leipzig, then by Verlag für Börsen- und Finanzliteratur in Leipzig (volumes 1910/11 to 1922/23) and later by Verlag Hoppenstedt up to and including volume 1997/98. The editions are included in the German National Library's list of specialist reference works for the Common Standards File.
