Abstract
Citibase is a macroeconomic database that originated at Citicorp Database Services. It is currently known as DRI Basic Economics and is maintained by DRI/McGraw-Hill. The database contains approximately 7,000 monthly, quarterly, and annual time series that date back to 1946 when available and end with the latest available observations. The data consists of national-level information, taken from more than a hundred U.S. Government and private publications. The databank includes all revisions of data, concepts, and coverage made by source agencies.
