Abstract

CentERdata is an eminent research institute, located on the Tilburg University (TiU) campus. We have supported and contributed to research that is relevant to science, society and policy since 1997. We conduct research work on behalf of the academic community, public authorities and the private sector. Our mission is to answer research questions in the field of man and society. We collect, analyze and disseminate reliable data. We also develop models and draw up prognoses for a better future. You are a social scientist in search of information about households or about the opinions held by individuals. Or, you are a policy maker who must make an important decision, but still need some crucial information. You can call on us for up-to-date opinion surveys as well as for complex policy issues, and for quantitative as well as qualitative research. CentERdata moreover has ample experience in developing software tools to support (panel) research. These tools range from software tools to coordinate the translation process for multi-lingual questionnaires and large-scale field work, to managing online panels and the dissemination of data and metadata.
